We are extremely proud to announce the participation of junior athlete Maria Cunha in the 96th Portuguese International Ladies Amateur Championship, one of the most prestigious international competitions in women’s amateur golf.

Maria’s journey has been marked by consistent and sustained progress, the result of her daily commitment to training, her dedication to the sport, and close, specialised technical support. Along this path, particular recognition is given to the work developed in partnership with her father, a golf professional, who has played a key role in her sporting development.

Maria’s presence in this international competition is a source of great pride for our academy, the club she represents, and for insular golf as a whole, highlighting the importance and quality of the training programmes developed within clubs from the island regions.
