Last weekend saw the 1st ‘Aquapor’ Tournament, part of the prestigious Portuguese Golf Federation circuit, made up of 7 tournaments travelling the country from north to south.

Thanks to the support of Construteam, our players with an HCP of less than 9.0 had the opportunity to take part in this challenging circuit. The Palheiro Golf Training Academy is proud to count three players among the participants in this prestigious event. The ‘Aquapor’ Circuit is distinguished by its high competitive standards and strict admission criteria, bringing together the best Portuguese players of all ages.

As for the results, we would like to highlight the excellent performance of Maria Cunha, who came in 7th place gross, just one stroke off the top 5. André Gonçalves and José Pedro Miranda faced some challenges on the demanding Penina course, but showed resilience and determination, lessons that will contribute to their growth as athletes.

For the next tournament, scheduled for March, the aim is to increase our representation, promoting excellence and consolidating the name of Palheiro Golf at national level.
