Last weekend, two athletes from our Training Academy wrote another chapter in their sporting journey by competing in the National Final of the Drive Tour, held on the 23rd and 24th at the emblematic Troia Resort.

Results:

• Salvador Rodrigues (Under-14) – 11th place (92+92).
• André Gonçalves (Under-16) – 8th place (91+88).

Tróia, a course that breathes history and prestige, known as one of the most challenging in Portugal, where every shot counts and every decision can define the game.

With winding fairways, elevated and unforgiving greens and bunkers that seem to have a life of their own, Tróia demands a perfect symbiosis between strategy and technique. Highlights include hole 3, a par-4 that tests precision, and the spectacular hole 18, a par-5 that challenges the nerves right down to the last shot.

For Salvador and André, this experience was about more than competing; it was about overcoming limits, facing adversity and believing in their own talent.

The courage and resilience they showed when facing such a demanding course is testimony to their dedication and passion for golf.

But the story doesn’t end here. This final was a milestone, a starting point for even greater achievements.

Salvador and André return inspired, stronger and determined to raise their game, with their eyes set on the future and the next challenges.
